Having always been a Bridgestone man I decided to go for something else on the commuter 600 Hornet as BT's always felt too hard for colder conditions.
I read several pages of reviews and opted for the Roadtec 01. First impressions weren't that good, made the front feel really heavy, I then checked the pressures the local fitter had put in, (38/38!!!) and changed them to 36/42 and it transformed the bike. These tyres are super stable and grip really well. I've had RP4's on a bike that felt like sponge and hated them and was worried there would be the same but I need not have worried. First ride out, taking it easy to scrub them in I've already gone edge to edge on them, they feel really planted, are super stable and inspire you with confidence. When my BT's are done on my S1000R I'll be fitting the M7RR's as so impressed with these. Flitwick Motorcycles had them at the best price I could find in the UK, had them in stock and FREE next day delivery. Awesome dealer, pity I don't live nearby in Clifton anymore as the shop was always my weekend coffee stop and a chat to Saul.
