About Yamaha R9 GYTR Akrapovic Track Day Exhaust

Transform your Yamaha YZF-R9 into a more focused track machine with this Genuine Yamaha GYTR Akrapovič Full Track Day Exhaust System.

Developed in partnership with Akrapovič specifically for the R9, this complete racing exhaust combines a high-grade titanium silencer outer sleeve and end cap with stainless-steel headers and link pipe.

Its race-inspired design follows the styling of Akrapovič systems developed for Yamaha's R-Series motorcycles, with influences from the exhaust systems used in World Supersport competition.

The silencer exits on the right-hand side of the motorcycle for an unmistakable racing appearance and is supplied with an aluminium silencer bracket.

Includes Track Day Link Pipe / Collector

Unlike the standard Racing Line configuration, this Yamaha GYTR Track Day System includes a stainless-steel Track Day link pipe/collector with an integrated resonator.

The resonator is specifically designed to reduce the exhaust sound level for track-day use while retaining a distinctive Akrapovič sports exhaust note.

Two different noise inserts are also supplied, giving additional options for managing sound levels at circuits with noise restrictions.

The system has been developed for closed-course competition and track-day use only and does not meet road-going emissions requirements.

ECU remapping is mandatory when this exhaust system is fitted.

We recommend professional installation and appropriate ECU setup before the motorcycle is used on track.
