Oil Quantities & Servicing

One 4-litre bottle of engine oil, one 1-litre bottle of axle oil and one 0.94-litre bottle of friction-modified gear oil are supplied. These are the quantities included in the kit, not the refill capacities of the engine or individual gear housings.

Follow your Yamaha owner’s manual for the correct lubricant for each application, refill quantities, oil levels and servicing procedures. The two gear oils should only be used in their specified applications.

Follow the servicing schedule and fitting instructions for your specific model, including any air filter preparation requirements and the specified spark plug gap and tightening torque.
