The Merlin Hamlin Hydro WP Armoured Motorcycle Riding Hoody combines the relaxed appearance and comfort of an everyday hoodie with certified motorcycle protection and genuine waterproof performance. Designed for riders who prefer casual urban styling, the Hamlin Hydro provides a practical option for commuting, leisure riding and everyday motorcycle use throughout changing weather conditions.

Constructed from heavy-duty brushed fleece cotton, the Hamlin Hydro incorporates an Authentic Texland Humax 10k/15k waterproof and breathable membrane with tape-sealed seams. A water-repellent outer treatment, waterproof centre-front zip, waterproof gusset and drainage panel design further enhance its wet-weather performance. Inside, a full Kevlar® fibre twill lining provides additional abrasion resistance, while a fixed mesh lining helps maintain comfort.

For protection, the Hamlin Hydro is CE certified to EN 17092 Class AA and comes pre-fitted with slim CE Armanox Level 2 armour at the shoulders and elbows. A dedicated pocket is also provided for an optional D3O® Viper Large back protector, allowing riders to increase impact protection if required. The back protector is available separately.

Practical riding features include pre-curved sleeves, elasticated webbing at the cuffs and hem, a drawcord hood and YKK® zips throughout. Two kangaroo pockets provide casual everyday storage, supplemented by a hidden zipped pocket and internal storage pockets. A short YKK® jacket-to-jean connecting zip and Euro hoop connector strap help secure the hoody to compatible motorcycle trousers or jeans.
